About Moyako Games

A free cognitive games platform. Seven games, five optional skill tests, one panda mascot.

Moyako Games is a games platform operated by Hanalytic Limited (UK). It is not a medical device, not a healthcare product, and not regulated as one. We do not diagnose, treat, prevent, or claim to improve any medical or cognitive condition. Game scores and test scores are self-tracking tools — not clinical measures. Mission

We build a calm, unhurried space where the thinking skills you actually use every day — planning, spatial reasoning, working memory, pattern recognition, decisions — get used when you play these games. Whether they get trained in any clinically meaningful sense is a question we don’t claim to answer. No dark-pattern timers. No claims that a game will fix something a game can’t fix. Streaks are visible, optional, and never the only path to enjoying the games.

The Company

Hanalytic Limited is a company registered in England and Wales. We operate Moyako as a consumer brand alongside Hanalytic’s SAP analytics consultancy (hanalytic.co.uk). Moyako Games (games.moyako.com) is one of several Moyako products; others include the Moyako studio brand site (moyako.com) and Android apps distributed on Google Play and the Samsung Galaxy Store.

Our Approach

Three principles guide the work:

  • Gameplay first, measurement second. A game has to be fun to play before it’s a measurement tool. Every game on Moyako stands on its own as a classic — chess, sudoku, memory match, word and block puzzles, backgammon, maze — with the measurement layer added on top, not built into the experience.
  • Honest framing. We don’t claim our games train skills in a clinically meaningful sense. We don’t claim to prevent cognitive decline, cure conditions, or substitute for professional evaluation. We provide games and let your scores speak for themselves.
  • Quiet by default. No push notifications unless you opt in. No dark-pattern urgency. Ads are shown between games, not during them, and never during a skill test question.

The Games

Seven titles, each with five difficulty tiers (auto-adapting from Sprint G3 onwards):

  • Chess — against a custom minimax engine from Beginner (~600 Elo) to Expert (~1800 Elo).
  • Sudoku — classic 9×9 with logic-only generation.
  • Memory Match — working-memory pair matching on 4×4 up to 5×6 grids.
  • Word Puzzle — letter-grid word-finding (Boggle-style).
  • Block Puzzle — falling-blocks arrangement with speed multipliers.
  • Backgammon — dice-and-strategy with five AI levels.
  • Maze — spatial navigation with generated mazes.

Five optional skill tests (pattern, reaction time, spatial, working memory, logic) measure baseline performance and let you see change over time. Taking them is voluntary and not required to play.

Values

  • Privacy-first. Minimal data collection, clear retention rules, one-click account deletion. See the Privacy Policy.
  • Free to play. The core service is free. Ads cover hosting. See Terms §6 for how advertising is handled across web and app.
  • No medical claims, no outcome claims. We avoid language that overstates what a game can do for cognition.
  • Evidence-aware. Where research on cognitive training is mixed, we say so. We don’t cite studies we haven’t read.
